Service Consent & Client Acknowledgment

Please review the following Service Consent & Client Acknowledgment terms before your appointment. It applies to all hair, color, texture, lash, and makeup services provided at Fringe Studio.

Consent to Service

By receiving services at Fringe Studio, you consent to the professional services discussed with your stylist or technician, including:

Haircuts and styling
Hair color, highlights, balayage, and color correction
Texture services, including perms, relaxers, and smoothing treatments
Lash services, including extensions, lifts, tints, and removals
Makeup application

You understand that results vary based on factors such as hair condition, previous services, medications, product buildup, and individual skin or scalp sensitivity. While every effort is made to achieve your desired outcome, results may differ from reference photos or expectations.

Health & Product Disclosure

You agree to inform your stylist of any allergies, sensitivities, medications, medical conditions, recent chemical services, or lash and eye conditions that may affect your service. Fringe Studio relies on the accuracy of the information you provide.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with your service, please contact us within five (5) business days of your appointment so we can address your concerns. Requests made after this period, or issues related to at-home care, outside products, normal fading, or new growth, may be considered a new service and subject to additional charges.

Right to Refuse Service

For the safety and well-being of our clients and staff, Fringe Studio reserves the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue any service due to hair or skin conditions, safety concerns, unrealistic expectations, or inappropriate behavior. Charges may apply for services already performed.

Release of Liability

Fringe Studio is not responsible for adverse reactions, breakage, discoloration, irritation, or other outcomes resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, allergies, prior treatments, inaccurate information provided by the client, or failure to follow aftercare instructions. This release does not apply to injury resulting from salon negligence.

Results Acknowledgment

Hair, lash, and beauty service results cannot be guaranteed and may require multiple appointments to achieve desired outcomes. Your stylist will discuss expectations, recommendations, and any limitations before service begins.

General Policies

Appointment Reservations: Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will incur a 50% service fee. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total. Outstanding fees must be paid before booking future appointments. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Late Arrivals: Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to have their service shortened or rescheduled to avoid impacting other appointments.
Photography Consent: Fringe Studio may photograph service results for portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify your stylist before your service begins.
